Step by step

Quarantine strips a member's roles, gives them the quarantine role and, when a quarantine channel is set, lets them talk only there. The bot writes a deny overwrite for the quarantine role into every channel and category and does the same for channels created later, so the role isolates even if your permission setup is imperfect.

Used automatically by anti-raid, join gate, heat thresholds, anti-nuke and moderator limits when configured to.
Protect bypass (dashboard) re-applies the role if someone removes it without !unquarantine; removing it by hand through Discord is treated as a pardon.
The bot's role must sit above the quarantine role and above the roles it removes.
