How to Add Sweet to Discord: Setup Guide

Invite the bot, pick a prefix, and the three Discord settings that make everything else work.

Step by step

Invite Sweet with the button on the home page. Use the default invite: it asks for Administrator so every feature works (channel creation for logs and tickets, role handling for verification and quarantine, audit-log reading for anti-nuke and invites). The bot arrives with everything switched off and posts a welcome message asking for two things:

1Choose a text prefix with /setprefix (for example !). Until a prefix is set, mention the bot to run commands: @Sweet play ….
2Run /flash to set up the whole server in about three minutes (see the next section).

Only /help, /prefix, /setprefix, /license and /flash are slash commands. Every other command uses your prefix. This guide writes !; replace it with yours.

The three things the bot needs from Discord

Role position. Drag the bot's role above every role it should manage (Verified, Quarantined, level rewards, reaction roles). It cannot touch roles above its own.
Channel access. For anything it posts (logs, greetings, tickets) it needs View Channel, Send Messages and Embed Links there. Private channels need an explicit overwrite for the bot's role.
Audit log. Anti-nuke, unauthorised-bot detection and invite attribution read the audit log. Administrator covers it; otherwise grant View Audit Log.

Good to know

Only /help, /prefix, /setprefix, /license and /flash are slash commands; everything else needs the prefix.
A bot whose role sits below a moderator role cannot act on that moderator, whatever the settings say.

If it does not work

The bot answers nothing. No prefix is set yet: mention it (@Sweet help) or run /setprefix.
