Counting game — Discord Bot Guide

One channel where members count upwards together: 1, 2, 3 and on. The bot ticks every correct number, and a new record gets a 🏆. Break the chain and it starts again from 1.

The rules

• Only a bare number counts. Anything else people type is left alone, so the channel can still be chatted in.
• Nobody may count twice in a row. After you post a number, someone else has to post the next one before you can go again.
• A wrong number breaks the count. By default it resets to 1 and the bot says who slipped up.
• The record is kept across resets, so a server always has a target to beat.

Dashboard: Community → Counting shows the next number and the record, and has the channel, every rule and the two reaction emoji in one place. The bot needs View Channel, Send Messages and Add Reactions in the counting channel, plus Manage Messages if you switch on deleting wrong numbers.
